Even though the use of AI to produce pornography is a hotly debated moral issue, using this technology to generate unwanted sexual images of individuals to which we have no consent is something that I believe everyone could agree is reprehensible. Another such method is ‘clothed-to-skinned’ or ‘strip site,’ which is a website that gives a typical clothed photo of a person and then spits out a faked nude picture of the same person. As you may have expected, the possibilities for its abuse are nearly endless here.
However, San Francisco City Attorney David Chiu is suing to shut out 16. Of the most popular sites among boys, which he revealed in a press statement and The New York Times. It might not limit this use of the tech entirely. But it could push its use a lot more dangerous for the companies. That created it for the outfits that end up using it.
